How to apply for new Driving License ?
The Motor Vehicle Department of India is responsible for issuance of a driving licence in any state or union territory of India.This department is head of all Regional Transport offices in any particular state.The State motor vehicle department is responsible for the registration of all motor vehicles (with or without gear) and issuance of driving licence (for both learner and permanent). This department is also responsible for all fees, fine and road tax collection and it also issue a vehicle fitness certificate.

How To Apply For New Driving License ?
After completing minimum thirty days of newly issued learning license,you can apply for the new driving License(permanent).
To apply for new driving license you have to follow the steps mentioned below:-
1. Visit the official website of Government Parivahan Sewa or click Here:- www.parivahansewa.com
2. Next, Click over the Driver/Learner License symbol or click here:- sarathi.parivahan.gov.in
3. Select your state and union territory.
4. Click over the Apply for Driving License symbol.
On screen, you have click over the symbol name as "Apply For Driving License".
5. Read the Instruction carefully.
You have read the instruction very carefully.Actually,given instruction on screen are the following seven stage that you have to follow and submit the document accordingly.
(i). Fill Applicant Details
(ii). Upload Documents
(iii). Upload Photo and Signature if required (applicable for only some states)
(iv). DL Test Slot Booking (applicable for only some states)
(v). Payment of Fee
(vi). Verify the Pay Status
(vii). Print the receipt

6. Now you have to authenticate with OTP(One Time Password) by simply entering register mobile number and then enter the sended valid OTP.
7. Now,enter your learning license number and date of birth(DOB).Be carefull while entering learning license number and check it.Example is given on screen.
8. Check your application form:-Application form is already filled,you don't have to fill anything but check carrefully.And, don't forget to select and add the class of vechile that you have choosen for learning license.
9. Save the data by clicking on save on pop up.
10. Now,print all the the documents such as Acknowledgement slip,Form-1,Form-1A and Application Form(pre-filled) and click over the NEXT.
11. DL Slot Booking:-Now,first click on DL Slot Booking and then click over proceed.Here you have to book your date and time for driving license test.carefully book using given information on screen.Submit the security code and click on confirm to slotbook.Save the appointment by clicking over Save as pdf.
12. After this,you have pay a fee for new driving license.While paying fee choose your class of vechile and check every thing that already filled and then click over proceed.Choose your medium of transaction and complete the payment and then print the payment slip for security purpose.
Now you have done all the work.You just have to visit your regional RTO centre as given in your saved document for giving driving test only.And, don't forget to carry your all printed documents.All detail are given in your document,so that if you have any query pleacse check your document.
